He was the predecessor of K'art'am, King of K'art'li; 11th (co-)King of Kartli.5 Aderki, King of Armenia was the son of K'art'am, offspring of Bartom's daughter.6 "In the first year of his [Aderki, king of Iberia - G.K.] reign was born our Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem of Judaea" (I, 35)[187] and even gives us a concrete indication about the territory of both Iberian kingdoms: "Now Aderki had two sons who were called, one Bartom and the other K'art'am. Between them he divided all his territory. The city of Mc'xet'a and the land on the Mtkuari, Inner K'art'li, the land by Muxnar and all K'art'li north of the Mtkuari, from Heret'i as far as the entrance to K'art'li and Egrisi, all this he gave to his son Bartom; whereas the land by Armazi, K'art'li south of the Mtkuari, from Xunan as far as the head of the Mtkuari, and all Klarjet'i, he gave to his son K'art'am. Then Aderki died."7 He was given the daughter of the King of Armenia to marry.3 Also called Adrik Armenian text.1 Also called Aderki Georgian text.1 He became king at age 30.3 He ruled for 57 (or 45, depending on the translation) years.3 He was the predecessor of Bartom, King of K'art'li; 11th (co-)King of Kartli.1 Aderki, King of Armenia married N.      Tudkhaliya I, King of Hatti was the predecessor of Arnuwandas I, King of Hatti; King of the Hittites.2 Tudkhaliya I, King of Hatti acceeded to the Hittite throne 1450 B.C., circa.1 He conquered Arzawa and Assuwa (later Asia) in the west and in the southeast captured and destroyed Aleppo, defeated Mitanni, and entered into an alliance with Kizzuwadna, which he later incorporated into his kingdom.3 He was succeeded by his son Arnuwandas I.3
