Parker Rice, son of Martin Rice and Emma Parker , moved to Paducah KY. He married Mattie Harris and is buried Big Hill Cemetery.

An engineer for the IC Railroad, Parker Rice was killed Aug. 2, 1920 in a train accident in Hickman County KY.
