Eliza J. Woodard, born 27 Aug 1868 in Webster Co., KY, was the daughter of Samuel Woodard, a Union soldier during the Civil
War, and Lucinda Liggett.
She married George Washington Jenkins on 26 Nov 1886 and they were the parents of Cora Francis Jenkins, Bonnie Urble Jenkins, Iva Jenkins, Norma L. Jenkins, Forrest Jenkins, Elmer Jenkins and George Lloyd Jenkins.
Eliza Woodard Jenkins died 27 Nov 1952 and she is buried at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Her obituary can be read online.
The family is not positive this photo is of Eliza Woodard Jenkins or
Liza Stone, the second Jenkins wife of Andrew Jackson Jenkins. However Liza Stone Jenkins was usually
listed as "Liza" rather that "Eliza", except on her gravestone.
