Sam Curneal's children by his first wife, Leatha (Lucy) were: Rebecca, Washington "Thomas", William, Georgia Ann, Martha Ann, Marion Jefferson, James Alexander and Bailey. By his second wife, Caroline, he had two children, Samuel Henry Curneal Jr and Nancy Ellen Curneal. By his third wife, Annie, he had twin sons, Willie and Willis.
