Shelton family reunion in Sebree, KY in 1941
The Shelton family are long time residents of Webster Co. with many of them buried at Springdale Cemetery. In the left front are Dillian Shelton and his sister, Joy Shelton Miller. To the far right are their brothers, J.Z. and Durward B. Shelton. They are all children of W.S. and Annie Shelton.
Annie is the white haired lady standing slightly to the right of center in the picture. Her daughter, Daisy Shelton Huckleberry is on her knees slightly to the left of center. In front of Durward are his son, John B. Shelton and his wife Mary, and their two daughers, Marilynn and Donna (that's me). We know that others in the picture are Bea Shelton Bolin, Naomi Shelton, Daisy's daughter and grandaughter, Maida Timmons Gilbert and Terilla Gilbert, Albert V. Shelton, Zula Farmer Shelton and other members of the family.If anyone can definitely put names and faces together, Donna would be happy for the information.
