Daisy, daughter of W.S. and Annie Shelton, was born near Sebree. She first married Aubrey Timmons and had one daughter, Maida. A second child died as an infant.

Her second husband was Webb Brown who worked for the railroad and gave Daisy a lifetime pass for rail travel.

After Webb Brown's death, Daisy married Steve Huckleberry and they moved to California. Steve was a barber, and Daisy a milliner. Daisy is buried at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.
