The old Ashley Mansion was built in 1863 by Jeremiah M. Ashley for his bride Lucretia. The old place still has the original logs that it was first built with. The house is still standing today and is located on Sebree Roger Powell Road, near the Ashley Cemetery. The great-granddaughter of Jeremiah and Lucretia inherited the old homeplace from her parents and she lives beside the old mansion today. This home is truly a part of the history of Webster Co. Ky.
