Willie Ligon, on the right, was the youngest son of O.B. Ligon and Margaret Frances Crews. He had one older brother, Lawrence, who died in an accident in 1911.

Willie was born in 1895 and died 1965. He married Sarah Catherine Whitledge, the daughter of George W. Whitledge and Safrona Todd, 22 Apr 1912 Henderson Co KY. They became the parents of three sons, Lawrence, Garland and Vernon Ligon.
