Mary Katherine Majors was the daughter of James Brown Majors and Catherine Glenn, who were married 21 Oct 1858 Gallatin County IL.

She married David T. Floyd, the son of William H. Floyd and Mary C. Melton 2 Jun 1886 Webster County and they became the parents of ten children.

David T. Floyd and Mary Katherine are both buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
