George W. Marks was the son of Thomas Marks, 1837-1922, and Margara Jane Higginson, 1841-1896.
He married Lucinda Woods, 1865-1922, the daughter of Andrew J. Woods, 1814-1891, and Mary Ann "Polly" Sparks, 1831-1872, all of whom are buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
George Marks and Lucinda Woods had twelve children, including Margie Jane Marks, 1895-1991, who married Willie Jones, 1895-1967. They are the grandparents of Carole Palmer, and are also buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. |
