Dr. David Morehead, the son of Enoch and Elizabeth Parrack Morehead, was born 30 Nov 1821 Union Co., KY and died 17 July 1907; he is buried at Petersburg Cemetery, Webster Co., KY.

He married Elizabeth N. Grayson 6 May 1841 Henderson Co., KY. Her family had also come to western Kentucky from Rutherford Co., NC.

David and Elizabeth's children were: Letitia Jane, William W., Celia E., Samuel Jackson, Enoch Randolph, and James David and Joseph Daniel, who were twins.
