Allen Nance is on the left. In the center is Allen's brother Wilfred "Sheik" Nance, who was born 20 Sep 1925 in Newburgh, Indiana and was struck and killed by a car while assisting a motorist 19 Jan 1972. |
Sheik Nance was a WW II veteran and had been in the towing business in Newburgh since 1946. He married Loretta "Boots" Burton, who was a native of Providence.On the right is Allen and Sheik's cousin, Jay W. Ramsey, son of Exton Ramsey and Myrtle Leona Ashby.
