William McAllister Ashby was born 21 Mar 1861 in Webster County KY, the son of Josiah B. Ashby, 1833-1909, and Elvira C. Smith, 1838-1917.
He married Olivia Bird Luck, the daughter of David Hudson Luck, 1829-1886, and Ellen Judy Hancock, 1834-1885, 4 Jan 1882 Webster Co KY.
They became the parents of six children, many of whom are pictured at this site.
