James Washington Burton
Lynn Odom Smith of Dixon KY has recently identified this photo as James Washington Burton in his younger days.
He was the oldest son of William Thomas Burton and Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" King and a brother to
George and Charlie Burton, John Burton , Idella, Martha, Willey and Jamima Burton.
James Washington Burton died in 1946; his obituary can be read here
