King Sisters
At left is Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" King Burton, wife of William Thomas Burton; on the
right is her sister Mary T. "Texanna" King Melton, married William Wiley Melton in
1868; she was called "Aunt Tex"
Both are daughters of Thomas King and Jemima Cozart and sisters to
Mariah Frances "Fannie" King Burton who married John McDuff Burton, a brother
to William Thomas Burton.
