Lockey, age 11, is the daughter of Robert H. and Hellen Callis at household #132 on p 130. Webster Co marriage dated 19 Jan 1881 shows R.H. Callis marriage to Hellen Wetherspoon (Marriage Bk 10, p 300). According to Louise Fleming's Heyday of Onton, Lockey Callis attended Sassafras Grove School in the early 1900's.

The 1979 Tompkins Funeral Home record of Lockie Elizabeth Callis Ballard names her parents; informant was Helen Stanley; she is buried at Sassafras Grove Cemetery. Her Browning Funeral Home record lists a surviving brother Johnny Callis of Evansville, IN.
