Clara Timmons, 1892-1984, the daughter of Orlander L. Timmons, 1858-1934, and Rhoda Frances Dickerson, 1856-1930, is in front with black coat, classes and gray hat.

Clara married Louis Aust. She is buried at Sassafras Grove Cemetery.

According to Louise P. Fleming's book Heyday of Onton, c 1984, pages 42 & p 231, "Orlander Timmons, the son of John Timmons, 1827-1917, and Sarah Jane "Sallie" Hancock, 1827-1904, was one of Onton's earlier postmasters, serving in that capacity from May, 1887 until August, 1889. He and his wife, the former Rhoda Dickerson, were charter members of the Sassafras Grove Methodist Church, South. They are both buried in that church's cemetery."
