John Timmons, 1827-1917, appears here with some of his adult children. He married Sarah Jane "Sallie" Hancock, the daughter of William Lewis Hancock and Sarah Bradshaw, 1 Mar 1853, Hopkins Co., KY.
Sallie Hancock Timmons died in 1904 and it is believed this photo was taken after her death.

The two sons flanking John Timmons are (right) Orlander, 1858-1934, and (left) George Samuel, 1853-1919. Daughters of John Timmons still living in 1917 were: Eudora Timmons Hall, Elnora "Nola" Timmons Hall, Maria J. "Dixie" Timmons Oglesby, and Katie Timmons.
