Abraham Cook Wallace Family

A .C. Wallace, son of James Curry and Amanda (Price) Wallace was born in April 1847 in Kentucky. He served in the Confederate Cavalry under Nathan Bedford Forrest. He was injured in the War, and had a permanent disability in his hand. He married Julia Alice Price, daughter of R. Hackney and Elizabeth (Imboden) Price on 8 November 1867. The couple left Kentucky and moved to Craighead County, Arkansas. They raised their family, and died there. A. C. died in 1902, and Julia in 1901. They are both buried in Black Oak Cemetery in Black Oak, Arkansas.
