Robert T. Wallace Robert T. Wallace was the eldest son of Benjamin P. Wallace & Eliza Bruce; grandson of (Capt.) James Wallace & Nancy Curry; and the great grandson of Samuel & Sarah Wallace. He was born 17 August 1847, Union Co., (near present day Wheatcroft, Webster Co.) Ky and died 09 February 1926, Monette, Craighead Co., Ar.    He married (1) 23 January 1873, Webster Co., Ky Emily B. Moon, who was born 24 February 1855, Ky and died 01 August 1873, Webster Co., Ky   : (2) 17 July 1875, Webster Co., Ky, Annie Helen (Moore) Hammack, the "widow" of William Hammack, and the daughter of Allen Moore. She was born ca 1849, Ky.

   R.T. Wallace was reported to have been elected and served as Sheriff, Webster County, Ky in 1880, and also as Coroner, Webster County, Ky 1880 to 1882. In 1882, Robert T. Wallace, moved his wife & family, along with several other relatives and friends settling in N.E. Ar in Craighead Co., at what was then known as Kentucky Settlement, later known as "Wallace Settlement" just outside present day Monette. For more information on Robert T.
