Mirtie May Townsend, daughter of Robert Mack Townsend and Mary Catherine Winebarger/Weinbarger, was born 6 Apr 1887 in Vandersberg, Webster County, KY and died 12 Oct 1956 at home near Sebree, KY.

She was first married to John Maxwell abt 1907 and had a daughter, Mary Magdaline Maxwell. She then married Charles David Eastwood 7 Apr 1910 in Dixon, KY and Gertie was born 20 Feb 1911.

She is buried at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Her 1956 obituary can be read online.
