Robert Mack Townsend, son of William T. "Buck" Townsend
and Mary Elizabeth "Jennie" Maxwell was born in 1865
and died in 1942.
Robert married 2) Minnie Bell Hunter,
daughter of John Wash Hunter and Mary Emely Burklow,
15 Jul 1903 in Webster Co KY.
They were the parents
of eight children: Ishmel, Roy Lee, Herman, Willie, Viola,
Opal, Jessie, and Bessie Townsend. Robert and Minnie are
buried in the Townsend Cemetery, Webster Co KY.
Photo date and place unknown, after their marriage in 1903.
