Robert Edward Hobgood, son of Reynolds Hobgood and Fronia
Chandler, was born 23 May 1873 possibly in North Carolina
and died 29 Jun 1957.
Robert married Sarah Francis Clayton,
daughter of Joel Clayton and Susan Elizabeth Clayton; her dates
unknown. Both are buried at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery,
Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.

Robert and Sarah had nine children: Alexander Haywood, Marcel Ann, Joel Arthur, Oliver Clay, Ollie Mae, Boyd Randall, John Franklin, William Edward, and Mary Lou Hobgood.
