W.L. Trusty Dies Near Poole Sunday; d 14 Jan 1934
POOLE, Jan. 16.--W.L. Trusty, 63, farmer, living near here, died at 8:30 o'clock Sunday morning at his home following an illness of three years. Surviving are the widow, Daisy; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Brill, Dixon, Mrs. Shirley Ramsey, Dixon, and Mrs. Omar Campbell of Corydon; two brothers, Dr. W.E. Trusty of Greenburg and Tom Trusty of South Bend, Ind.; and five sisters, Mrs. I.T. Osburn, Mrs. Maude Fuston and Mrs. Rosha Ramsey of Henderson, Mrs. R.M. Sigler of Corydon and Mrs. Bird M. Gess of Fredonia. Funeral services were held this morning at the home with the Rev. T.G. Curd in charge. Interment was in the Shady Grove cemetery here.

Individual note: Dixon Journal, Vol 1, 10 Nov 1916: Joe B. Gentry and Miss Elizabeth Qualls went to Madisonville Wednesday where they were married. They are well known young people. Mr. Gentry is the son of John Gentry and the bride is the daughter of R.W. Qualls, Sr., both highly esteemed farmers. Mr. and Mrs. Gentry went to Evansville Thursday where they visited friends and relatives for several days, returning home Sunday afternoon. They will reside on the W.H. Ogden place.

Tompkins Funeral Home records for her dates; says she was the dau of Richard Qualls and Sallie Ann Whitsell. Her husband Joe Gentry was informant.
