Arch MOONEY, 62, died at his home in Dixon at 8:45 p.m. Saturday following an illness of two years. Mr. Mooney was a retired rural mail carrier, and had served as postmaster in Dixon. Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Blanche Mooney; mother, Mrs. Sarah J. Mooney; three daughters, Mrs. Kestner TAPP and Mrs. Crystal McFARLAND, Dixon, and Mrs. F.T. TAPP, Madisonville; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Tapp Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Nealey PEARCY officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery, Dixon. Providence Journal-Enterprise, Thursday, July 5, 1945.

Individual note:   His wife's obit dated 23 Jun 1955; she is listed as Maude Rivers Christlieb, age 79. Says she is the daughter of the late William and Martha Marks and is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Mooney and Mrs. Mable Winstead of Dixon and two brothers, Lee and Chris Marks, Dixon.

An Arthur A. Christlieb 1882-1922, is buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Webster County.

If so, I think she is the Udora Gipson, age 4, in the 1880 Webster census, p 378, with her parents Robert Gipson and wife Kimmillar. Kimmilar S. Gibson, w/o R.A. 1848-1903 is buried next to Eudora at Shady Grove.
