Barney L. Hankins was the son of Huston G. Hankins.
He married Agnes Shelton 8 Oct 1845 Hopkins Co KY.
Their daughter Sarah E. Hankins and her husband Hardin N. Turpin, are both buried in this cemetery, as is their child who died as an infant, Barney Hankins, Jr.

The stones of Barney L. Hankins and his son Barney Hankins, Jr., were pulled up and reset in a new base when the Job Corps students worked at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in October 2005.
