Pearl Owen was the daughter of James Manson Owen, 1858-1940, and Elizabeth Hunt, 1854-1920.

She married Guy Myers and they had three children: Coryne Myers, who married 1) Lloyd B. Shelton and 2) Luther "Jake" Bumpus; Eskey Myers, who married William Earl Melton, and Eskey's twin, Essel "Bill" Myers, who married Octa Burton.
