George T. Jones 1897 - 1976 Lida Jones 1904 - 1997 George "Colonel" Jones was the son of John W. Jones and Mary Jane Bridwell. Lida Burton was the daughter of Joseph Z. Burton and Emma Turpin.

George and Lida married 24 Aug 1924 and they lived most of their lives in the Mt. Lebanon area. They became the parents of nine children. Lida Jones' 1997 obituary can be read online
