Franklin Pierce Oglesby was the son of Stephen Decatur Oglesby and Louise Knight.

F.P. Oglesby married 1) Elizabeth Frances Marks 22 Nov 1877, Webster Co., KY, and they were the parents of Frank Marion Oglesby and Cordelia Oglesby Orsburn, whose 1950 obituary can be read online.

He married 2) Martha Eleanor Burton, 1877-1959, the daughter of William Thomas Burton and Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" King. 7 Dec 1892, Webster Co., KY.

Frank Oglesby and Martha Burton became the parents of five children, one of whom, Herman L. Oglesby, is also buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
