Noah Sparks was born in North Carolina, the son of Thomas Sparks, 1785-1830, and Sarah Brackett Sparks, 1797-abt 1870, who came to Hopkins County KY before 1820. Noah Sparks married Lucinda Newton 13 Jun 1842 Hopkins County KY and they became the parents of six children,

Sparks Head; Joel Sparks and his wife Uriah Grayson Sparks, and Jasper Newton Sparks.Noah Sparks was a farmer and he settled on Deer Creek, a stream which drains eastern Webster County and empties into the Green River near Sebree.
