Thurman, Jr. While photographing cemetery stones, Marian and Amy Dunn discovered two previously unnoticed brick-sized stones with glazed tops next to Thurman and Kittie Winstead's stone. They read: Augusta and Thurman, Jr. with no last names or dates.

According to Kentucky Death Records, a son Augustus Winstead was born to Dick and Kittie 2 Dec 1913; he died 17 Feb 1914, and was buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. No record was found of the birth or death of a Thurman Winstead, Jr.
