Polly Ann Sparks was the daughter of Sarah Brackett and Thomas Sparks of North Carolina. Polly married Andrew J. Woods 30 May 1853 Henderson County and they became the parents of eight children, many of whom are buried in this cemetery: James Franklin Woods, Mary Woods Townsend, Lucinda Woods Marks, William M. Woods, Matilda Woods Stinnett, Dave Woods, Kate Woods , and Becca F. Woods
Polly Woods has a second newer stone in this cemetery. This stone is broken and partially in the ground.
