This photo was taken in September 1993 when Pearlene Melton Johnson took me to Webster County to share her childhood memories. Pearl, who lived in Arizona, and I e-met online in 1991 and discovered we are 4th cousins.

With us in the photos are our aunts who, of course, are 3rd cousins. Left to right we are: Carole; Carole's aunt Ama Lee Jones Lenfers; Pearl's aunt Lucille Melton Stull; and Pearl.
