In the name of God Amen I Bridget Cardin of Browntown Pittston Township, being sick an weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding Praised be god for it considering the certainity of death an the uncertainity of the time thereof an to the end I may be the better prepaired to leav this world when ever it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and declare this my last will an testament in manner that is to say first and princepally I commed my soul into the hands of almighty God my creator and as to say that my just debts and funeral expenses be full ratified I do make and give to John Carden one dollar also to Thomas Carden one dollar also to James Carden one dollar the balance I give to Mrs Anne Carden my money being in the Miners Saving and in the National Bank of Pittston Luzerne Co State of Penna signed in presence of John Carden Mrs Anne Carden Bernard Mullin Justice of Peace this 22nd - day of January 1894 Bridget her X mark Carden Witnesses C Donnelly and Maggie Kearney Date of Death 25 day of June 1894 at 10.10 oclock P.M. Registers Office Wilkes Barre Pa July 10 1894 Luzerne County SS This day before me Stanley W Davenport Register of Wills in and for the County aforesaid personally came Maggie Kearney one of the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing last will and testament of Bridget Carden of the Township of Pittston Luzerne County and State of Pennsylvania deceased who being duly sworn according to Law says that she was present and heard Bridget Carden the testatrix sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her last will and testament and that at the time of so doing she was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of thier knowledge and belief and that she did sign her name as a subscribing witness in the presence of Cou Donnelly and in the presence and at the request of the said testatrix Sworn and subscribed before me the day and year above written S.W.
