The picture is of John Marion Bruton & Martha Love Bruton with children are L to R Zylphia, Permalia, and William Phillip. 1864.John is the grandson of George Bruton of Wayne Couny, KY whose pension deposition you posted recently. John was born in KY 1822 and died at Belgreen, AL in 1882. He and Martha lived in Tishimingo County, MS. until General Sherman burnt their home. They escaped with their horses and hid in a ravine. The 1870 census shows his mother Zylphia ( daughter of Enoch Bruton & Dorcas Wofford ) living with them. ~ 2005 John Bruton
