This indenture made the 13th April 1829  between Polly COGGIN the widow of Simon COGGIN Dcd, and her children Viz.-

Levi COGGIN of the state aforesaid and County of Davidson- Mash Hannah and his wife Prisilla of Randolph; John and Billerry COGGINS, Kid CRANFORD and his wife Elizabeth, Jurdan COGGINS, Polly COGGINS all of the afforsd state and County first-named on the one apart- and Nathan CRANFORD of the State and County aforesd of the other part, - Witnesseth; That the widow Polly COGGIN and her children Levi Mash, Hannah and his wife Prisilla, John, Bilberry, Kid CRANFORD and his wife Elizabeth, Jurdan & Polly COGGINS for and in the consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to the sd widow Polly CRANFORD, her children and children in marriage to us in hand paid by the sd Nathan CRANFORD the ??? whereof we the sd widow Polly and her children doth hereby acknowledge, hath given granted bargained and sold unto the sd Nathan CRANFORD and by these presents do give grant, bargain, sell, ????? release and confirm unto the sd Nathan CRANFORD his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract of land containing fifty one and a half acres- Beginning at a maple on glady fork, being the beginning of no 4 and runs north 80 degrees west- 86 1/2 poles to a stake in the dividing line of no 3 Thence south 10 degrees west - 84 1/2 poles, thence south 80 East - to a black bush Thence south 48 west- 19 poles to a post Oak ELLIOTTs corner thence with sd line south 48 East - 12 poles to a hickory bush.  Thence north 43 East - 79 1/2 poles to a sugar tree on glady fork.  Thence along the creek to the beginning; containing fifty one and a half acres more or less on the south west of Glady fork it being a part of that tract of land Simon COGGIN called no 5 one of the Eight divisions together with all and singular the herditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the above premises described to have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the sd Nathan CRANFORD his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoofs and also we the widow Polly COGGIN her children and children in law do for ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators covenant with Nathan CRANFORD his heirs and assigns that all and until the ????? of these presents we are well ???? of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee-simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written and that the same is free of all encumbrances whatsoever---

And furthermore we the sd widow Polly COGGIN her children and children in law do by these presents bind ourselves and our heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the sd Nathan CRANFORD his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever.
