Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Eighty five dollars in hand paid by Nathan CRANFORD for his daughter Margaret for and in Consideration of a horse his grand Father Grand father gave his the money of which horse Nathan CRANFORD appointed to my own use-

The writ whereof I the said Eli COGGIN doth acknowledge and confirm, given granted and confirm unto the sd Margaret CRANFORD A Certain parcel or tract of land lying and being in the County  and State  aforesaid- on glady fork.  Beginning on a Sugar tree in on the South West Side of Sow Creek above teh road leading from Harrises Mill to Center Meeting house them S. 43 W. 79 1/? Poles to a hickory bush in ELLIOTTS Line and with said line 48 ? 95 Poles to a old oak thence N.S. W. 54 Poles to a black oak, Thence E. 20 N. 31 Poles to two pines thence with Harrises line to the bank of the Creek, Thence up Sow Creek to the beginning.  Containing thirty seven and a half acres be the same more of less with all its appurtanences to be the said Margaret CRANFORD.

I bind myself my heirs and assigns forever, and do warrant and defend the said title and claim from all and every person whatever to the said Margaret CRANFORD and the heirs of her body forever.

The Condition of the above is as such Nathan CRANFORD and wife shall have full power and liberty to use all privileges and premises on said land during his natural life and that of his wife, as right in fee simple.  That sd Margaret CRANFORD shall not have possession nor right to the above land only by the consent of her Father and Mother or after their death.
