J.D. CRANFORD To Martha CRANFORD Deed 1875 |
| This Indenture made this the 29th day of October One Thousand
eight hundred and seventy five between J.D. CRANFORD of the County of Montgomery
and State of North Carolina of the first part and Martha CRANFORD of the
County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth, that for and in
consideration of the sum of One hundred and seventy five dollars to him in
hand paid by the said Martha CRANFORD hath bargained, sold and delivered
unto the said Martha CRANFORD a certain tract or parcel of land by estimation
One hundred acres more or less the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
lying and being in the county and State aforesaid situated on the waters
of Beaver dam Creek, Beginning on the east side of Beaver dam Creek and a
white oak red oak and black oak an gum pointers and runs an east course to
Samuel COGGINS line and and with said line a South Course to an agreed line
James REEVES land a part of said land obtaining a part of said land ?? hast.
Then with said agreed line a west course to the Beaver dam Creek then
up said creek to the beginning To have and to hold the above named
tract of land and every part thereof with all woods ways waters mines
minerals and the said J.D. CRANFORD warrant the above named tract of land
to the said Martha CRANFORD and her heirs executors administrators
or assigns in fee simple and I the said J.D. CRANFORD doth
for myself make and warrant my whole interest to the said Martha
CRANFORD and her heirs in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my seal day and date first written.
