Frederick C. JURY Newspaper Obit

Frederick C. Jury, 75, of G-3 Matt Apts. died October 22, 1977 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born in England and came to Utica and this country asa young boy. He was educated in Utica schools, and on November 25, 1925 in Chadwicks, N.Y. He married Julia Swift. She died in 1964. Most of his life had been spent here. He had been employed at New Forest Cemetery until his retirement in 1965, and previous to that in the Oneida County Home and Hospital and Griffith Air Force Base. He was a member of St. John's Church.

Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Donald G. (Clare) Cranford, Hopes Mills, N.C.; four sons, Leonard and Edward, Utica, Richard P., Clayville, and George of Floyd; a brother William Jury, Cassville.

The Funeral will be Tuesday morning at 8:15 from the Quinn, Ryan & Nunn Funeral Home and at 9 from St. John's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Rome. Calling hours Sunday 7-9, Monday 2-4 and 7-9.
