| Mrs. F. C. Jury
Rome- Mrs. Juila R. Jury, 59, Rome RD 1 (Brookfield Road), wife of Frederick Charles Jury, died yesterday in a Rome Hospital. Mrs. Jury was born in Pittston, Pa, daughter of Richard Swift and Anna Kelly Swift. She attended local schools. She was married to Mr. Jury in 1925 in Chadwicks. Mrs. Jury had lived in Lee Center for the past eight months. Prior to that she had lived in Floyd for about 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Donald G. (Claire) Cranford, Okinawa; four sons, Leonard, Utica, Richard P., George and Edward, all of Floyd; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Cadden, and a brother, William Swift, both of Chadwicks. The funeral will be at 8:15 Monday from the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home and at 9 from St. Peter's Church with a solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow and Sunday. *Note- obit came from Rome Daily Sentinel on Nov 23, 1964. |
