| Grace E. Jury, 82, of 1744 Reservoir Rd., passed away September 11,
1992, at Faxton-Children's Hospital.
She was born in Cassville, a daughter of the late Charles and Edith Edwards Brown. Grace recieved her education in Bridgewater and Sauquoit schools. She was married to Roy Sweet and he passed away in 1936. In 1970, she was married to William Jury. He passed away in 1991. Grace worked as a waitress in various restaurants and was a member of the Sauquoit United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ray Sweet, of Cassville, Glenn and Sandy Sweet of Sauquoit, and John and Betty Quick of FL; two daughters and one son-in-law, Hazel Brinkerhoff, and Esther and Richard Jury, all of Cassville; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Lee Brown, of Gordon Lake. Charles and Jean Brown, of Clayville, James Brown, of Utica, and Robert Brown, of llion, four sisters and two brother-in-law, Josephine Fernalld and Edith and harold Fernalld, all of Clayville, Alma and Lester Roberts, of New Hartford, and Bernice Hughes, of Utica, a daughter-in-law, Ethel Sweet, of Cassville; and several grandchildren, great granchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Roy Sweet, in June of this year. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6:30-8 at the J? Donald Smith Funeral Home, 3022?, Oneida St., Sauquoit. Funeral services will be Sunday evening at 8:00. Interment will be in Sauquoit Valley Cemetery. *Note: Obit came from the Observer Dispatch Newspaper on Sept 12, 1992. |
