Below are many CAGLE marriages that I have collected and transcribed. Some copies were very faint and I will transcribe them to the best of my ability. SIMMONS of Montgomery County, aged 62 years, color white, the son of William SIMMONS and Mary SIMMONS the father now dead, the mother dead, resident of Montgomery County. And Mary CAGLE of Moore County aged 32 years, color white, daughter Enoch CAGLE and Nancy CAGLE, the father dead, the mother living, resident of Moore County.  J.M. CAGLE of Moore, aged 25 years, color white, the son of Isaac CAGLE and Franey CAGLE, the father now living, the mother living, resident of Moore And Mary CAGLE of Montgomery aged 18 years, color white, daughter of John CAGLE and Jane CAGLE, the father dead, the mother living, resident of Montgomery.  P.H. CAGLE, united in matrimony MOORE and 25 the parties licensed above, on the 26 day of March 1878 at white in Isaac CAGLE Township in said County, according to law. (NOTE: this portion of the marriage certificate is way out of line, it appears that the person who filled it out had eye trouble or something of the sort.  I copied it just how it reads)  *Witnesses Present at Marriage:  James CAGLE of Montgomery, Jesee MCCASKILL of Montgomery, Ann C. State of North Carolina, Montgomery County.  Office Register of Deeds, November 13, 1879.  To any Ordained Minister of any Religious Denomination, or any Justice of the Peace of said County:  William CAGLE having applied to me for a LICENSE for the Marriage of William CAGLE of Moore Co aed 23 years color white, the son of Dempsey CAGLE and Elizabeth CAGLE, the father now living, the mother living, resident of Moore Co. And Louzenia CORNELISON of Montgomery aged 26 years color white, daughter of Peter CORNELISON and Unreadable CORNELISON, the father living, the mother living, resident of Montgomery County.  P.H.
