Yesterday's Funerals

Many friends and relatives were present at the funeral of Martin MURPHY, held yesterday at the family home, 82 Chapel Street, Upper Pittston. Floral tributes were numerous. Rev. William L. CAWLEY was celebrant of a requiem mass in St. Mary's church, at 9:30.

Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetary. The pall bearers were: John DOUGHERTY,

Peter CAWLEY, Michael MCHALE, Patrick DOUGHER, John KEARNS, and Martin GARDNER.
