Sallie Ann AILSTOCK 1928 Will Image

I, Sallie Ann AILSTOCK of Millboro, Bath County, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time made:

(1)  I desire all my just debts to be paid.

(2)  I give, devise and bequeath to my son Guy AILSTOCK the wicker suit of furniture.

(3)  I give, devise and bequeath to my son Noell E AILSTOCK all my real estate, my home and everything in it except the wicker suit of furniture mentioned in clause two above.

(4)  After all debts and expenses are paid I want any money left divided equally among my children.

(5)  I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Noell E AILSTOCK my executor of this my last will and testament with full power and authority to execute the same according to its true and intended meaning, and having perfect confidence in his judgment and integrity I direct that said executor shall not give security.

Given under my hand this 27th day of Dec. 1928.

                                                    SALLIE A AILSTOCK      (Seal) The above signature of the testator was made and the foregoing will was acknowledged to be her last will and testament by the said testator in the presence of us, two competent witnesses present at the same time, and we the said witnesses, do hereunto subscribe the said will on the date last above written in the presence of the said testator, and of each other, at the request of the said testator, who was then of sound mind and over the age of twenty one years.

                                                                  WALTER ELLIOTT VIRGINIA:  In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Bath, July 8, 1952,

It appearing that Sallie Ann AILSTOCK departed this life on the 30th day of June, 1952, of the age of 92 years, in Bath County, Virginia, and that the said Sallie Ann AILSTOCK at the time of her death had a mansion house and known place of residence in the County of Bath, Virginia, and a writing bearing date of the 27th day of December, 1928, and purporting to be the true last will and testament of the said Sallie Ann AILSTOCK, deceased, having been produced before the Clerk and proved according to law by J E WITHROW and Walter ELLIOTT, the subscribing witnesses thereto, on the motion of Noel E AILSTOCK, the executor named in said writing, it is ordered that the said writing be and the same hereby is established, probated and admitted to record as and for the last will and testament of the said Sallie Ann AILSTOCK, deceased.
