Know Ye that by virtue of a land office Treasury Warrant Number Eight hundred and sixty issued the twentieth day of November one thousand seven hundred and ninety four. There is Granted by the said Commonwealth, unto John JACKSON, Jnr. and Robert BARTLETT a certain tract or parcel of land containing three hundred acres by Survey bearing date the first day of October one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight, lying and being in the County of Harrison on LAMBERs run and bounded as followeth, to wit, beginning at a S..wood on a line of Thomas BARTLETTs and running thence by said line South forty seven degrees West thirty poles to a poplar and two white oaks said Thomas BARTLETTs corner thence South sixty five degrees West forty six poles to a white Oak South fifty four degrees West Fifty six poles to a white oak South fifty four degrees West one hundred and fourteen poles to a white oak another corner of said Thomas BARTLETTs, thence North thirty four degrees West twenty poles crossing said Run at the forks to a Walnut tree, South fifty six degrees West fifteen poles to a white oak and Walnut, South twenty degrees West twenty four poles to a sycamore, South sixty five degrees West forty five poles to a stake, North seventy nine degrees East twenty six and a half poles to a white oak North thirty four degrees West Eighty Eight poles to a white oak North Eighteen degrees East one hundred and sixty seven poles to a black oak on a river, East Eighty nine poles to a black oak, South twenty five degrees East thirty five poles to a black oak, North sixty nine and a half degrees East seven poles to a black oak South sixty six and a half degrees, East twenty eight poles to a black oak corner to another Survey of said Thomas BARTLETT thence South twenty degrees East one hundred and fifty nine poles to the beginning with its appurtenances To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said John JACKSON, Jun.. and Robert BARTLETT and their heirs forever. In Witness whereof the said James WOOD esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath here unto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine and of the commonwealth the twenty fourth.

Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know ye that in conformity with a survey made on the second day of November 1819, by virtue of a Land Office Treasury warrant Number 5600 issued the 22nd February 1816 is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Benjamin BARTLETTE Junior assignee of Benjamin BARTLETT a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and sixty six acres situate in the County of Harrison on BARTHOLOMEWs Fork of Buffalo Creek and bounded as followeth, to wit, Beginning at a Sim and Beech on the bank of a run which empties into the Southerly side of said for, thence North thirty seven degrees West forty six poles to a white oak and beech, North eighty degrees West thirty eight poles to a white oak and dogwood, North forty one degrees West thirty nine and a half poles to a beech and sugar tree, North fourteen degrees West sixty one poles crossing said fork to a white oak, South seventy nine degrees East sixty eight poles to a white oak, South forty two degrees East nineteen poles to a white oak South sixty eight degrees East fifty three poles to a hickory, South nineteen degrees East twenty eight poles to a white oak, South seven degrees East one hundred and four poles to a white oak, South fifteen degrees West fifty poles to a maple, South thirty three degrees East one hundred and twenty poles to white oak, South thirty eight degrees West sixty poles crossing said fork to two sycamores, West thirty two poles to a beech, North thirty three degrees West one hundred and thirty two poles to a black oak, and thence North twenty degrees East one hundred and thirty eight poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Benjamin BARTLETTE Junior and his heirs forever. In Witness whereof the said Thomas M. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know ye that in conformity with a survey made on the twenty seventh day of March 1820 by virtue of the Land Office Treasury warrants to wit: 100 acres by Number 6169, and 57 acres by Number 6170 both issued the 5th February 1818, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto John ALLEN, Stephen ALLEN, Joshua ALLEN, Israel ALLEN, Catharine BARTLETT wife of Sterling BARTLETT, and Rebecca BARTLETT wife of Thomas BARTLETT, the only children and heirs at law of Barnes ALLEN deceased A certain tract or parcel of land, containing one hundred and fifty seven acres situate in the County of Harrison on Cross Run a branch of CALDWELL’s fork which is a branch of McELROYs fork of Middle Island Creek and bound as followeth to wit: Beginning at a red oak and sugar tree on the bank of said run about two hundred poles above its mouth, thence North twenty five degrees West twenty eight poles to a white oak North fifty five degrees East sixty poles to a sourwood and hickory, North sixty seven degrees East ninety three poles to a hickory, South eighty four degrees East forty poles to a hickory and poplar, North fifty five degrees East one hundred and twenty seven poles to a white oak, North thirty six degrees East twenty four and half poles to a white Oak, North fifty five degrees East one hundred and fifty four poles to a white oak and maple, South twenty five degrees East nineteen poles to a white oak, South forty three poles to three beeches, South fifty one degrees West one hundred and twenty one poles to a hickory and dogwood South sixty three degrees West thirty poles to a Sugar tree, South forty seven degrees West sixty one poles to a white Oak and maple, South seventy degrees West one hundred and thirty four poles to a sugar tree, West twenty two and a half poles to a red oak, South fifty six degrees West seventy eight poles to a white oak, South sixty eight degrees West forty four poles to a sugar tree West forty poles to a red oak and sugar tree, North twelve degrees West twenty poles to a white oak and thence North eighty five degrees East fifty six poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances, to the said John ALLEN, Stephen ALLEN, Joshua ALLEN, Israel ALLEN, Catherine BARTLETT, and Rebecca BARTLETT only children and Heirs of said Barnes ALLEN Decd and their heirs forever. In witness whereof, the said Thomas M. RANDOLPH Esq.
