Know All men by these presents that I Thomas I. PERRY of the County of Henry and State of Kentucky do by these presents and for and in consideration of the Sum of fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by Wharton M. RANSELL of the same County and State, do Transfer release & Convey unto the same Wharton RANSDELL his heirs & assigns forever all my right title & Interest as one of the Legatees of Jane BARTLETT deceased in and to a Certain tract of land lying & being in the County of Henry on the Waters of Sulpher fork being the same tract upon which the said Jane BARTLETT resided at her death containing as supposed about fifty Acres, etc. (more or less).

NOTE~~~ Jane Scott Bartlett died 1824 in Henry County Kentucky and was the widow of Foster Bartlett, Sr. who died before 1816 in Henry County Kentucky. Thomas Perry was married to their daughter, Elizabeth. Foster Bartlett, Sr. was a son of Thomas Bartlett and Mary Foster.
