Know all Men by these presants
[sic] that I Thomas BARTLETT of the County of Jefferson
and State of INDIANA do by these Presants and for and in consideration
of The sum of fifty dollars to me in hand paid by Wharton M. RANSDELL
of the county of Henry and State of Kentucky do Transfer release
and convey unto the said Wharton M. RANSDELL his Heirs and assigns
for ever all my right title and intrust as a legatees of Jane
BARTLETT deceast in and to a certain tract of land lying
and beeing in the County of Henry and State of Kentucky on the
waters of Sulpher fork being the farm that the said Jane BARTLETT
resided on at hir death containing as supposed about fifty acres
bee their more or less.

have heare unto set my hand and seal this 23rd of May 1832

NOTE~~~ Jane Bartlett died 1824 in Henry County Kentucky. She was the widow of Foster Bartlett, Sr., who died before 1816 in Henry County Kentucky and Thomas was their son. Foster Bartlett, Sr. was a son of Thomas Bartlett and Mary Foster.
