ENOCH CHALLIS BARTLETT, son of Levi BARTLETT and Abigail FAVOR, was born July, 1819 in Newton, NH. He married Ruth L. CURRIER March 18, 1844 in Newton . Enoch's middle name was thought to be Charles by at least one of his descendants, but his birth records shows it to be Challis. He died of consumption November 29, 1885 at age 66 years, 4 months, and Ruth died March 30, 1906 at 78 years, 1 month. Both are buried in Highland Cemetery, Newton, NH.
