The US Gen Web Project: I strongly urge you to support this wonderful group of volunteers. There is probably not a one of us who hasn't sat at our computers in the wee hours of the morning searching through those freely donated records in the hope of finding one of our families there. Just save your files in ascii or .txt format and email them to the county coordinator of the county where the event took place.

Everton Publishers: The site of Everton's Genealogical Helper and On-Line Search with over 85 Million names and GROWING! Many genealogy research tools here.

8th Tennessee Cavalry, CSA: If you had Bartletts who settled in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee and participated in the Civil War, visit this site. It is maintained by Michael P. Bartlett, descendant of Joseph Bartlett and Millicent Rice, is very informative and has some great genealogy links!

Filson Club Historical Society: Louisville, Kentucky. Houses one of Kentucky's largest collections of historical material.

First Name Abbreviations

Gedpage: This is one nifty, easy to use little program for turning your GEDCOM into pages for your web site. Unlike most of the similar programs, your pages are in Family Group Sheet format. Check it out.

Genealogy Online: One of the oldest genealogy websites on the Internet.

Genealogy Exchange & Surname Registry: Search engines, databases, lookups, etc.

Genealogy Resources on the Internet: John Fuller and Chris Gaunt's extensive list of links to genealogy resources.
