CHARLES R. TAYLOR FAMILY
Decendants of Charles "Charlie" R. Taylor are trying to locate information about his ancestors. Charles was born somewhere around 1866 - 1878. It is known that he was living in the Snyder, Texas area around 1906. It is beleived that he moved to Texas to be with his cousins. It is also thought that the rest of Charlie's family lived near the Tyler, Texas area. As of yet they have been unable to connect Charlie to any of the known Taylor lines.

ROBERT TAYLOR FAMILY
Another group of Taylors came to the Van Zandt County, Texas area around the same time period as my Bart and his brothers. And while there is some striking similarities (all came from Alabama to the Van Zandt County area around 1872), there has yet be a connection made between the two Taylor groups.
The other Taylor group consisted of Isaac Riley Taylor (b. 1817) and three of his sons, John Riley, Isaac Christopher and Jessie Livingston. Isaac Riley's parents were Robert and Mary (White) Taylor. Little is known of Robert and Mary.
There are two individuals who are actively researching this Robert Taylor line. If you have any information about Robert Taylor's descendents or ascendants, please let me know and I will put you in contact with those researching this line.

TAYLORS FROM VAN ZANDT AND |
R. E. and Eva (Calhoun) Taylor
I accidently ran across an article pertaining to Robert Earl "R.E." and Eva (Calhoun) Taylor. R.E. was born in 1888, in Grand Saline, TX. His parents were John W. and Leora (Bradford) Taylor. The families moved from Van Zandt County, Texas to Ardmore, Oklahoma. The article also shows six children for R.E. and Eva; Opal Lavera (Taylor) Smith, Aubrey Taylor, Oleta (Taylor) Phillips, Fay Nell (Taylor) Hibbs, Oran Taylor and Bobby Taylor. |
